A collection of ceramic tableware and household items contained within a cardboard box. The lot features a rectangular hand-painted earthenware tray decorated with a vibrant pattern of alternating blue and yellow flowers on a mottled green ground, finished with a dark blue border. Accompanying this is a hand-painted earthenware teapot with a yellow body, lime-green banded decoration at the base, and a lid featuring red and orange flowers with a blue globular finial. A small ladybug detail is painted near the base of the handle. The collection also includes a large circular plate with a deep burgundy glaze and an off-white ceramic plate. Smaller ceramic pieces comprise a white porcelain dish with a scalloped and gilded rim and a small dish with blue and white decoration. A black-coated wire storage rack is included. Miscellaneous non-ceramic items consist of a turned wooden handle or pestle, a length of brown braided cord, and a clear moulded glass vessel. No maker marks, signatures, or labels are visible on the items in their current positions. A small orange adhesive label reading 18 is attached to the exterior of the cardboard box.
Condition report:
The items appear generally intact from the overview provided. The hand-painted tray and novelty teapot show no visible chips or cracks from the primary angle. The gilded rim of the small white porcelain dish shows some light surface wear (photo 1). As the items are stored loose within a cardboard box, there is a potential for minor surface scratches or crazing not immediately visible in the group shot. The wire rack shows no signs of bending or coating loss.
