Lot 603: An Assortment of Vintage and Contemporary Costume Jewellery in a Black Vanity Case
A collection of assorted vintage and contemporary costume jewellery housed in a black vanity-style storage case with white trim. The lot features a variety of materials including gold-tone and silver-tone base metals, resin, plastic, glass beads, faceted glass stones, faux pearls, and fabric elements. Distinctive pieces include a wide yellow resin bangle decorated with black spots, a silver-tone link bracelet set with blue navette-cut faceted glass stones, and a chunky rectangular amber-toned resin element. The lot also includes a small, clear pressed-glass circular jar and a black beaded cluster ornament. A small white rectangular adhesive label is affixed to the interior lid, bearing the handwritten black characters 17 17. No maker names or signatures are legible on the jewellery pieces.
Condition report:
The jewellery items are stored loose and are partially tangled within the case (photo 1). Surface wear consistent with use is visible, including minor tarnishing to metal components and light scratches to resin and plastic surfaces (photo 1). The storage case displays minor scuffing and discolouration to the white exterior trim (photo 1).
