Lot 554: A Pair of Contemporary Tub Chairs with Monochrome Botanical Upholstery
A matching pair of contemporary barrel-back tub chairs featuring integrated arms and removable square seat cushions. The chairs are upholstered in a light grey textured fabric decorated with a bold, stylized black botanical pattern of chrysanthemums and scrolling vines. Each chair is supported by four short, tapered square-section wooden legs with a natural finish. A small white rectangular adhesive label is attached to the inner arm of the right-hand chair, printed with the digits 17 17. Positioned above this is a fluorescent orange square sticker with the handwritten digits 17 over 10. No other marks, stamps, or manufacturer labels are visible on the exterior of the pieces.
Condition report:
Both chairs appear to be in good condition. The upholstery is clean and shows no visible tears or heavy staining. There is some minor gathering of the fabric on the inner back of the left-hand chair (photo 1). The wooden legs show minor surface scuffs and light wear consistent with use (photo 1).
