A mid-century Bohemian style circular side table constructed from wicker and rattan. The piece features an inset circular glass top resting on a tightly woven rattan surface, bordered by a wide braided wicker rim. Below the top, the apron displays a decorative open-work frieze featuring X-shaped rattan lattice patterns. The table is supported by four curved legs wrapped in rattan, which are joined by an X-stretcher for structural stability. A small, rectangular white adhesive label is attached to the glass top, though the printed information is not legible.
Condition report:
The table is in fair vintage condition. There is noticeable dust and light debris accumulation within the intricate wicker weave throughout the frame (photo 1). The rattan shows age-appropriate wear, including minor scuffing and small areas of finish discoloration. The glass insert appears structurally sound without major chips, although it is dirty and retains a residue label. Minor fraying and loosening of the rattan wrapping are visible on the lower portion of one leg and within the decorative lattice frieze (photo 1).
