Lot 382: A two-step folding metal step stool
A two-step folding metal step stool constructed with a light blue painted steel frame. The item features two rectangular steps, each fitted with black, ribbed, non-slip rubber or plastic treads. The stool is designed with a folding mechanism for compact storage and is equipped with black plastic feet to protect flooring.
A small white adhesive label bearing a black letter L is present on the upper-left side of the frame. A worn, rectangular orange adhesive label is located on the top step. Faint markings are visible on the top crossbar, appearing to be manufacturer safety or instructional text, though the characters are not legible as a name or specific brand.
Condition report:
The stool exhibits significant signs of heavy use and age. There is widespread paint loss and surface corrosion across the light blue steel frame (photo 1). The black non-slip treads show extensive wear, with the underlying material exposed in large, irregular patches on both steps (photo 1). The plastic feet and folding joints show wear and grime accumulation consistent with prolonged utility in a domestic or workshop environment.
