A pair of metal fireplace accessories consisting of a three-fold fire screen and a lidded bucket. The fire screen features a brass frame with three hinged panels, each with an arched top and a black-painted wire mesh insert. Decorative brass finials are positioned at the top of each vertical frame support. The cylindrical bucket is constructed from copper sheeting with a matching domed lid featuring a central circular knob. It is fitted with two dark metal side handles. An orange adhesive label is affixed to the wire mesh of the screen on the left side, and a similar orange adhesive label is present on the lid of the copper bucket. No manufacturer names, signatures, or other markings are visible on either item.
Condition report:
Both items show signs of age and functional use (photo 1). The fire screen frame displays moderate tarnishing and surface wear throughout the brass components, while the wire mesh remains intact. The copper bucket has a dark aged patina with visible areas of green verdigris and surface scuffing across the body and lid. The metal handles exhibit surface corrosion. Both items bear orange adhesive lot stickers (photo 1).
