Lot 372: Carlo Arnoldi Black Leather Travel Holdall
A large black grained leather travel holdall featuring twin rolled carry handles and a wide, adjustable shoulder strap secured by dark-toned metal swivel clasps. The bag comprises a main compartment with a top zip closure and a secondary horizontal zippered pocket on the front face. Stitched to the front is an embossed rectangular leather patch bearing the name ‘CARLO ARNOLDI’ and a circular device containing a stylized CA monogram. The bag is further detailed with a black leather tag embossed in gold-coloured lettering with the words ‘GENUINE LEATHER’ and a small white adhesive label marked with the handwritten digits ’12 12′ attached to one handle base.
Condition report:
The bag shows signs of wear, including general creasing and softening of the leather throughout. A prominent pale scuff mark is visible on the upper front panel (photo 1). The metal hardware shows areas of oxidation and finish loss. The interior has not been inspected.
