Lot 246: Heaton Cooper 'Winter Mountain Landscape with Figures' (Signed)
A framed colour print on paper depicting a winter mountain scene. The composition features a snow-covered slope with a dark, vertical treeline in the upper left and a small group of figures crossing the middle ground. The work is presented within a wide cream-coloured mount featuring a double-ruled decorative border around the aperture and is housed in a simple gilded wood frame. A vertical signature reading HEATON COOPER is present in the lower-right corner of the image area. A white rectangular adhesive label reading 15 is adhered to the top right of the mount, and an orange adhesive sticker is present at the top left.
Condition report:
The print appears to be in good overall condition. The mount shows light surface dirt and age-related yellowing. The frame has minor gilt loss and surface wear (all visible in image 1).
