An assortment of miscellaneous decorative and collectible items presented in a partitioned cardboard box. The collection includes a large, dark green glass sphere, possibly a vintage fishing float, showing internal seed bubbles and a reflective surface. Beside it is a small, red-painted metal canister featuring a screw-top lid and a vertical slot. To the left, a polished silver-toned metal object, likely a flask or case, is partially visible. The right compartment contains a carved emu egg, resting on a bed of natural feathers and shredded paper. The egg displays an incised design of two marsupials, rendered in a fine hatched style. The base of the artwork is hand-inscribed with the name CHARLIE CHAMBERS and the date 1998. A small white adhesive label with the numeral 1 is attached to the front edge of the box.
Condition report:
The green glass sphere exhibits minor surface scuffs and scratches (Photo 1). The red metal flask shows significant paint loss and chipping across its body, revealing the grey metal substrate (Photo 1). The carved emu egg appears to be in good order with no visible cracks or chips to the shell (Photo 1). The silver-toned metal object shows minor surface reflections and light handling marks (Photo 1). The cardboard box has worn edges and minor creases (Photo 1).
