Lot 735: Yellow Metal 9CT Belcher Chain Necklace Weight: 12.3g.
A heavy yellow metal necklace of belcher link design, also known as a rolo link, comprising uniform circular links of substantial gauge. The chain is fitted with an integrated cylindrical barrel-style clasp. There are visible indentations and markings on the barrel clasp, however, these are not sufficiently clear to be definitively transcribed. The style and construction of the piece are consistent with late 19th or early 20th-century jewellery. Due to the lack of legible hallmarks, the item may be solid precious metal or a plated base metal.
