Timed sale of unsold lots
Antonio Borsato hand-painted bisque porcelain sculptural group. The scene depicts two elderly figures at a market stall. A woman stands behind a table which is heavily laden with miniature ceramic wares, including teapots, cups, saucers, and plates of food. She wears a headscarf and rustic clothing, holding a small utensil. Seated in the foreground is an elderly man wearing a maritime-style cap and sandals, resting on a low stool. The setting includes a textured wall backdrop featuring a framed picture of a sailboat and a draped fabric canopy supported by wooden poles. Beside the table are baskets containing further goods and containers of food. The piece is finished in a polychrome palette with a matte surface.
Condition report:
The figurine is in good overall condition. Due to the high number of delicate miniature components, there are potential minor losses or small chips to the edges of the dishes and the figures\' extremities. A small dark mark or surface chip is visible on the seated man\'s knee. The base shows two adhesive labels.
