Timed sale of unsold lots
A William IV mahogany fold-over card table of rectangular form with rounded front corners. The top is constructed with mahogany veneers and features cross-banded decoration to the edges and frieze. The top opens to reveal a green baize-lined playing surface. The table is supported by a thick, turned central pedestal mounted on a quatrefoil platform base. The base is supported by four splayed, hipped legs, each terminating in decorative brass lion’s paw caps and integrated casters. An orange sticker and a small white label containing the numbers 11 11 are affixed to the inner edge of the frame.
Condition report:
The table is in used, antique condition. The mahogany surfaces show characteristic wear consistent with age, including minor scuffs, light scratches, and small indentations. The green baize lining is intact but displays surface dust and some areas of spotting and discoloration. There are minor chips and instances of lifting to the veneer along the edges and the inner rail. The brass lion\'s paw caps and casters show a naturally aged patina. The piece would benefit from professional cleaning and polishing.
