Lot 662: A contemporary black glass three-tier media unit with Chinoiserie style decoration
A contemporary three-tier media unit or television stand featuring a modular-style construction. The unit consists of three black glass shelves, likely tempered, held by thick cylindrical black support pillars. The back and internal panels are finished with printed gold-toned Chinoiserie scenes on a black ground, including traditional oriental figures, pagodas, and landscapes. The design incorporates three circular cut-outs for cable management located at the rear of each level. Small white printed safety certification characters are present on the corner of the top glass shelf.
Condition report:
The unit is in used condition and shows a significant accumulation of surface dust and debris across all shelves and panels. There are minor surface scratches to the glass and support pillars commensurate with age and regular use. No significant chips or cracks are visible to the glass edges.
