Lot 273: Large Etched Shower Screen with Crane and Reed Motif
A large decorative etched shower screen dating to the late 20th century. The screen features a frosted or sandblasted scene depicting two wading birds, such as cranes or herons, positioned amongst tall reeds with stylized water ripple patterns at their feet. The screen is rectangular in form with one rounded corner and is currently fitted with a gold-toned metal mounting track or channel along one long edge.
Condition report:
The silvering of the shower screen appears to be in generally good condition with no significant foxing or silvering loss visible. There is adhesive residue from an orange sticker in the upper right quadrant and a small white label adhered to the gold metal trim. The surface shows minor dust and grime consistent with age and storage.
