Lot 62: A Collection of Villeroy and Boch Switch 3 Pattern Porcelain Tableware
A partial table service of Villeroy and Boch porcelain in the Switch 3 pattern from the Country Collection. The set comprises approximately thirty pieces including one teapot with lid, one lidded sugar bowl, one milk jug, approximately fourteen mugs of varying slightly different designs within the pattern, and approximately thirteen saucers. The porcelain is decorated with transfer-printed underglaze blue foliate sprigs, stylised blue patterned borders, and green band accents on a white ground. The underside of the pieces bears a grey backstamp featuring the Villeroy and Boch logo and name, the date 1748, Switch 3 in a rectangular box, Porcelaine, Dishwasher-safe, Microwave-safe, Germany, and Country Collection. An additional stamped alphanumeric mark P31 is present on some items.
Condition report:
The items appear to be in good used condition overall. Several pieces have adhesive lot and price stickers that will require cleaning. One mug in the central row shows a small brown surface mark on the interior rim. One saucer shows light yellowish staining or discolouration to the underside. No significant chips, cracks, or professional repairs are visible from the primary overview.
