Lot 61: A Large Set of Wedgwood Angela Pattern Bone China Tableware
A collection of Wedgwood fine bone china dinner and tea ware in the Angela pattern, reference R4648. The design features delicate transfer-printed pastel floral sprigs and butterflies on a white ground, with many pieces displaying a spiral swirl relief to the ceramic body. The set includes a lidded teapot, a lidded vegetable tureen, a gravy boat with an underplate, dinner plates, dessert plates, side plates, rimmed soup bowls, small bowls, teacups, and saucers. The underside of the pieces bears the Wedgwood factory mark in brown, which includes the Portland Vase motif, Bone China, Made in England, and the pattern name Angela R4648.
Condition report:
The collection is in good used condition overall. Surface wear is present, consistent with light domestic use. Several pieces have adhesive price labels attached to the glaze. No major chips, cracks, or restorations are visible, though minor rim abrasions or fine hairline cracks may be present upon close individual inspection.
