A pair of coordinating studio pottery vessels of globular form. The set comprises a bud vase or seed pot with a narrow circular aperture and a bulbous bowl with an open, irregular rim. Both pieces are decorated with a matte mottled glaze in a palette of sage green, pale ochre, and charcoal grey tones. The bowl features a decorative dark drip-glaze effect extending from the rim. The interiors are partially finished with a similar pale glaze. The bud vase bears a handwritten orange sticker numbered 49 and a square white sticker numbered 7; the bowl bears a matching white sticker numbered 7. No maker marks or signatures are visible on the surfaces shown.
Condition report:
The bud vase appears to be in good overall condition. The bowl has a very thin, jagged, and irregular rim showing minor fritting and small nicks, potentially inherent to the firing process or due to wear. No major cracks or professional repairs are visible.
