Lot 50: Anglepoise Model 90 Desk Lamp by Herbert Terry and Sons
An Anglepoise Model 90 articulated desk lamp manufactured by Herbert Terry and Sons. This classic industrial design comprises a weighted circular base and a counterbalanced three-jointed articulated arm supporting a conical metal shade with a wide aperture. The lamp is constructed from metal with an original cream-coloured painted finish. A black electrical cable is present.
Condition report:
The lamp shows signs of wear consistent with age and regular use. Visible imperfections include surface scuffs, minor scratches, and small areas of oxidation to the painted finish. An orange adhesive sticker is present on the side of the shade. The electrical wiring is of an older type and requires professional PAT testing by a qualified electrician before use.
