Lot 421: A Collection of Glazed and Bisque Ceramic Figurines
This lot comprises a collection of decorative figurines in various styles, constructed from glazed porcelain and unglazed bisque ceramic. The assortment includes a large figure of a boy in a red jacket with a green umbrella and watering can, and a tall, glazed lady in a navy blue Edwardian-style gown with a plumed hat, standing beside a white dog. Also present is a figurine of a man in a tan overcoat carrying a basket and a brown umbrella, a boy in rustic attire with a straw hat, and two smaller white bisque figures depicting children, one playing a violin. Other pieces include a girl in a white dress and shawl, and a seated figure in a blue and white gown with a dog. No manufacturer marks or factory backstamps are visible from the current orientation. A lot sticker numbered 421 and a tag numbered 14 are attached.
Condition report:
The umbrella handle held by the man in the tan overcoat is detached or damaged. The boy with the green umbrella displays surface dust and minor wear to the paint on the base. There is a general risk of minor chips or losses to delicate extremities such as fingers and decorative details due to storage conditions.
