Live auction will start in __ days and __ hours

Start price: £2

Buyer's Premium:

An assortment of 20th-century glassware and ceramics. The lot contains a large quantity of cut lead crystal stemware and tableware including wine glasses, sherry glasses, tumblers, and a large handled pitcher. These pieces feature deep-cut diamond, criss-cross, and vertical wedge patterns, with many exhibiting multi-point starburst-cut bases characteristic of high-quality lead crystal production.

The ceramic portion includes a Paragon fine bone china mug commemorating the 1935 Silver Jubilee of King George V and Queen Mary. The mug displays oval portraits of the monarchs, flags, and floral motifs with a silver-gilt rim. The base bears the Paragon crown mark and commemorative text. A Royal Stafford bone china teacup and saucer are also present, featuring a white ground with yellow and gilt scrollwork. The teacup is marked with the Royal Stafford crown stamp, indicating English manufacture.

Further items include two pieces of yellow-green pressed glass, an iridescent lustreware creamer, a clear pressed glass comport base, and various small glass ornaments.

Condition report:

The items are in as found condition. Ceramics show rubbing to the gilt rims and decoration. Glassware exhibits surface scratching and some cloudiness from domestic use. Due to being stored together, pieces may have minor rim chips or flea-bites.
