Lot 350: A Collection of Anchor Hocking and Assorted Vintage Decorative Glassware
An assortment of mid-twentieth-century decorative glassware, featuring pieces in emerald green, ruby red, amethyst, and smoke grey tones. The collection includes an Anchor Hocking forest green glass bowl with a moulded grape and vine pattern. Notable items include two green glass vases with silver-toned floral overlay decoration and a tall cylindrical red glass vase featuring gilded enamel scrollwork and dot detailing. Also present are a tall emerald green decanter, a small green vase with a lattice lace-effect pattern, a large ruby red flared vase, and an amethyst glass vase with etched decoration near the base. The lot is completed by various smaller vessels, including a scent bottle with a metal cap and a smoke-grey flared rim vase.
Condition report:
Items are in fair to good condition, showing signs of wear consistent with age. The silver-toned overlays on the green vases exhibit tarnish and loss in places. The gilded decoration on the red vase shows minor wear. Surface scratches and scuffing are visible on several pieces, particularly the green bowl. Occasional manufacturing air bubbles and minor flea-bite chips to edges may be present.
