Lot 329: Atmospheric Coastal Landscape with Cottage and Tree, 20th Century Watercolour
An original watercolour painting on paper depicting an atmospheric coastal or marshland landscape. The composition features a lone cottage and a leafless deciduous tree positioned on a shoreline, overlooking a vast, pale horizon. The work is executed in a representational style using a soft palette of muted greys, blues, and browns, with two birds in flight depicted in the lower section.
