A Moorcroft pottery table lamp in the Lamia pattern, designed by Rachel Bishop. The ceramic body features a tubelined riverside scene depicting water lilies and bulrushes amidst green foliage, executed in a palette of green, blue, brown, and cream glazes against a pale yellow ground. The lamp is of a baluster form and is mounted on a circular dark wood-effect base. It is fitted with a brass lamp holder, a cream electrical cord, and a UK three-pin plug. A cream fabric lampshade is included. An orange stock label marked 234 is present on the neck of the ceramic body.
Condition report:
The ceramic body appears to be in good condition with no visible chips, cracks, or restoration. The brass lamp holder shows surface oxidation. The included fabric lampshade is significantly crushed and misshapen. Electrical components have not been tested for safety or functionality.
