Lot 23: A Set of Royal Doulton Larchmont Pattern Fine China Tableware
A set of Royal Doulton fine china tableware decorated in the Larchmont pattern (T.C. 1019). The pieces are crafted from white porcelain and feature a transfer-printed border of autumnal leaves in variegated shades of brown, ochre, and sage green. Each piece is finished with a gold-gilded rim. The collection includes rimmed soup bowls, dinner plates, salad plates, and side plates. The base of the pieces bears a printed backstamp in grey consisting of a crown above a circular mark. Within the circle are the words MADE IN ENGLAND and ROYAL DOULTON ENGLAND surrounding a central four-lobed emblem. Below the circle, it reads FINE CHINA, LARCHMONT, T.C. 1019, COPYRIGHT, and DOULTON & CO LIMITED.
Condition report:
The items appear to be in good overall condition with no visible chips, cracks, or significant surface scratches. The gilding on the rims remains well-preserved. White adhesive lot stickers are present on several pieces.
