A mid-20th century full-length coat crafted from dark mahogany-toned fur. The garment features a let-out construction technique, resulting in characteristic vertical stripes through the pelts. The design includes a wide shawl collar and long sleeves. The interior is finished with a coordinated dark brown satin-effect lining. No maker’s labels, monograms, or marks are visible.
Condition report:
The fur presents with a healthy luster and no immediate signs of balding or significant shedding visible from the exterior. There is some minor surface dust and debris visible on the lower right section of the garment. The lining appears to be intact where visible. As is standard for vintage fur, a physical inspection is required to determine the suppleness of the skins and to check for hidden wear at the cuffs, collar, and underarms.
