This set of Royal Worcester fine porcelain oven-to-tableware features the Evesham pattern, introduced in 1961. The collection comprises ten small cylindrical ramekins with vertically ribbed exterior walls and one circular serving tray with a wide, fluted, and scalloped rim. Each piece is decorated with various transfer-printed fruit motifs, including blackberries, plums, and olives, set against a white ground. The rims of the ramekins and the tray are finished with a gilt edge. The base of the pieces bears a black backstamp featuring a crown above a circular logo containing the words Royal Worcester and Fine Porcelain surrounding a central number 51. The mark also includes an R symbol, Made in England, Oven to Table Ware, and a 1961 copyright for Royal Worcester. The pattern name Evesham is printed in a script font. Impressed marks O and C are present on the porcelain base. Six of the ramekins are housed in their original blue cardboard box.
Condition report:
The porcelain items are in good overall condition with no visible chips, cracks, or significant wear to the gilt rims. The six ramekins within the original packaging appear to be in unused condition. The cardboard box shows signs of age and storage wear, including scuffing and minor discolouration.
