Lot 226: A Collection of Vintage Glass Storage Jars and Bottles including Kilner and The Glenrothes
A collection of clear and dark glass storage containers. The group comprises a clear glass swing-top bottle with a wire-work closure and pink ceramic stopper, embossed with the Kilner brand and Est 1842. One dark glass spirit bottle features a wooden-topped cork stopper and a partial label for The Glenrothes. The collection further includes a large clear glass storage jar with a vintage paper label for Nature’s Store Natural Wheatgerm, and three smaller clear glass jars, each with a decorative moulded sunburst or floral design on the lid.
Condition report:
The items are in vintage, used condition. Some containers show internal residue. Labels are partially missing, worn, or exhibit staining. No major structural damage is visible, though light surface scratches and minor abrasions consistent with age and use may be present. Physical inspection is recommended for a full assessment of potential small chips to the rims or lids.
