Lot 112: A Pair of Contemporary Stylised Elephant Figurines
A pair of contemporary decorative figurines depicting stylised elephants. These pieces are constructed from cast composite or resin with a textured, matt surface. Each figure features a minimalist form with an elongated trunk that curves upwards and back towards the head. One elephant is decorated with a geometric chequered pattern in shades of burgundy, black, and metallic gold on its lower body. The other elephant features several silver-toned circular motifs on its head and flank. No maker’s marks or signatures are visible on the exterior of the pieces.
Condition report:
Both figurines are in good overall condition with no visible chips, cracks, or repairs. There is a small adhesive label from a previous sale on one figurine.
