Lot 505: An Assortment of Art Deco Style Men's Dress Accessories and Mother-of-Pearl Studs
An assortment of vintage men’s dress accessories and jewellery presented in a circular, tan-lined box. The collection includes multiple pairs of white metal t-bar cufflinks and mother-of-pearl shirt studs. One pair of rectangular cufflinks features three channel-set, square-cut coloured stones in shades of blue, red, and purple, which appear to be paste. Other components include flat metal plaques and additional dress studs. The metal pieces appear to be silver-toned base metal or silver plate and exhibit varying degrees of surface wear and tarnish. One shirt stud is incised with the word PATENT on the reverse. No metal purity hallmarks or maker’s marks are visible.
Condition report:
Generally fair to good condition. There is visible tarnish and surface scratching to the metal components consistent with age and use. The mother-of-pearl elements appear intact. The box shows minor signs of wear and retains an auction lot sticker to the rim.
