A vintage M. Hohner chromatic harmonica produced in Germany. The instrument features embossed nickel-plated metal cover plates decorated with ornate scrollwork and circular motifs representing various grand prix and exhibition medals. The upper cover plate is marked M. Hohner and includes the inscriptions Made by M. Hohner and Germany. The harmonica is constructed with a dark wooden comb and brass reed plates, and includes a sliding mechanism at one end for chromatic play. A lot sticker numbered 20 is applied to the top plate.
Condition report:
The item is in used vintage condition. There is visible surface tarnishing, pitting, and oxidation to the metal cover plates. The wooden comb shows age-related wear but appears structurally sound. The instrument has not been tested for musical functionality or reed alignment.
