Lot 458: A Reproduction Mahogany Low Open Bookcase
A low-profile open bookcase of late 20th-century manufacture, finished in a dark mahogany stain over hardwood and veneers. The rectangular top features a cross-banded border with a lighter-toned inlay detail. The interior is divided into three vertical compartments by two fixed partitions. The internal sides and partitions are drilled with holes to accommodate adjustable shelf supports. The piece is supported by a recessed plinth base. A small yellow inventory sticker bearing the numbers 58 over 20 is present on the lower left front edge.
Condition report:
The piece displays surface wear consistent with age and use, including scuffs and minor finish loss to the top and base. The adjustable shelves are missing.
