Lot 301: A Decorative Glazed Wall Display Cabinet in the Provincial Style
A decorative glazed wall or tabletop display cabinet constructed from wood with a cream-painted finish. The single door features a large rectangular glass pane accented by ornate scrolling fretwork overlays at the corners. The cabinet is finished in a distressed shabby-chic style. The interior is fitted with two fixed horizontal shelves creating three separate compartments for display. The door is mounted with hinges on the left-hand side and is equipped with a single white circular pull knob. No maker’s marks or stamps are visible on the piece. An auction lot sticker is present on the top edge of the frame.
Condition report:
The cabinet is in good condition with a purposefully distressed and aged paint finish. There is some visible surface dust and minor wear consistent with use. The glass and decorative fretwork appear to be intact.
