An early 20th-century Arts and Crafts style pewter ice bucket or wine cooler of cylindrical form. The exterior is decorated with a repeating embossed frieze featuring oval medallions with stylized foliate scrollwork. The vessel is fitted with two fixed side handles and sits on four small integral feet. It is topped with a tiered, domed lid surmounted by a flared finial. The interior contains a removable cylindrical metal liner with twin wire loop handles for extraction. The design is consistent with British metalware from the late Victorian to Edwardian period and resembles the style of the Forman Brothers.
