Lot 810: Two Silver-Toned Metal Charms of a Victorian-Style Boot and a Sighthound
Two silver-toned metal jewellery charms comprising a Victorian-style lace-up boot and a leaping sighthound. The boot charm features relief-cast details including lacing, eyelets, and a pronounced heel. The sighthound is depicted in an athletic, elongated pose. Both pieces are fitted with suspension loops for attachment to a chain or charm bracelet. The metal appears to be silver or a silver-plated base metal; however, no hallmarks, purity stamps, or maker’s marks are discernible.
Condition report:
Items are in used condition with surface wear consistent with age. There is significant dark grey patination and oxidation across both pieces. Suspension loops remain functional.
