Lot 756: A Trio of Traditional Reproduction Mahogany Finished Nesting Tables
A trio of graduated nesting tables in a traditional reproduction style. The set comprises three rectangular tables of decreasing size, designed to fit nested together for storage. Each table features a mahogany-toned top with decorative moulded edges and a polished finish. The tables are supported by four turned and ringed tapering legs. This design is characteristic of British furniture manufacture from the mid-to-late 20th century. A small yellow identification sticker is present on the top surface of the largest table, though no permanent manufacturer marks or stamps are visible.
Condition report:
The tables are in good used condition. There is a visible accumulation of dust and light cobwebs around the leg joints and underframes. The polished surfaces exhibit minor wear, including light surface scratches and small scuffs consistent with age and domestic use. The structural integrity of all three tables appears sound.
