A collection of vintage high-fidelity audio components. The primary unit is a Sony Stereo Music System, model HP-511A, featuring an integrated top-mounted turntable under a tinted acrylic dust cover and an AM/FM stereo receiver. The receiver is finished with a silver faceplate, an analogue tuning dial, and a suite of controls including tuning, function selection (Phono, FM, AM, Aux), source, mode, loudness, hi-filter, bass, treble, balance, and volume.
Included in the lot is a Sanyo Stereo Cassette Deck, model RD 5050G. This front-loading component features a silver faceplate with twin analogue VU meters, a three-digit mechanical tape counter, and standard piano-key style transport controls. It is equipped with switches for Dolby NR and tape selection.
The set is completed by a pair of matching Sony bookshelf-style speakers. These are housed in wood-effect cabinets with brown textured fabric grilles, each bearing a Sony brand badge. The system is solid-state (transistorised) and includes associated power leads and RCA interconnect cables.
Condition report:
The electronics are in fair to good cosmetic condition, showing signs of age-appropriate surface wear and accumulated dust. The acrylic turntable cover exhibits minor scuffing and surface scratches. The speaker grilles appear to be in good order without significant tears. All knobs, switches, and mechanical controls are present. The functional status of the components is untested.
