Lot 598: A Collection of Assorted Hand Tools, Hardware, and Maintenance Equipment
An assortment of hand tools and DIY hardware contained within a green plastic storage tub. The collection includes masonry and plastering equipment, notably a large rectangular metal trowel with a blue and black textured ergonomic handle and an attached orange plastic guide marked with Patent No. 2156805. The lot features several hammers, comprising a long wooden-handled hammer, a small ball-peen or tack hammer with a wooden handle, and a hobby mallet with a yellow handle. Clamping and cutting tools include a metal F-clamp with a wooden handle and a small hand saw with a black plastic grip and serrated blade. Also present are a rectangular sanding block, various red-handled screwdrivers or awls, and a blue-handled tool. The lot includes modern carded hardware from the UK retailer The Range, containing a brass-finished sliding bolt (Product Code TR32010, Barcode 5016285111714). Miscellaneous fasteners in plastic bags and protective cloths are also included.
Condition report:
The items are in used, workshop condition. There is visible surface oxidation, dust, and dried residue on several tools, particularly the plastering trowel. Wooden handles show signs of wear and staining. The tools are sold as seen and have not been tested for individual completeness or functionality.
