This lot comprises a diverse assortment of woodworking and engineering tools, components, and associated ephemera, presented in a lilac plastic storage bin. Woodworking equipment includes two large wood-turning chisels with red-finished wooden handles, one clearly bearing the impressed mark RECORD POWER LTD. A cardboard box for an ALEXANDER tool, also associated with RECORD POWER LTD, is present. Engineering and lathe equipment includes several cast metal gears of varying sizes, an indexable lathe turning tool holder, and a small red plastic container for carbide inserts with the reference CCMT 060204-52. A small cardboard tray contains a variety of drill or router bits. The lot also contains a central cardboard box with miscellaneous metal hardware and a roll of white tape. Included ephemera consists of a paper plan titled A Peco Publication, featuring architectural elevations for a stone building.
Condition report:
The items are in used, vintage condition. Visible surface oxidation and light rust are present on many of the steel components and gears. The woodworking tools show signs of workshop use, including scuffing to the handles and storage wear to the associated boxes. The paper ephemera shows signs of age, including creasing and minor tearing. The plastic storage bin is scuffed. All mechanical parts and tools are sold as seen and remain untested for functionality.
