A pair of vintage circular copper hot water bottles featuring a concentric ribbed or stepped design to the domed upper surface. Each vessel is constructed from two pressed or spun copper sections joined at a central horizontal seam. The bottles feature central screw-top openings. One bottle retains a metallic screw cap, while the other is fitted with a dark-coloured cap, possibly fashioned from bakelite or a similar early plastic. The bodies exhibit a natural patinated finish. Both items bear small adhesive identification stickers.
Diameter: approximately 21cm.
Condition report:
Both items show signs of age and domestic use consistent with utility ware. There is general surface wear throughout, including light scratches, scuffing, and varied patination. No significant structural damage or large dents are immediately apparent from the visual inspection. The dark-coloured cap shows minor surface wear.
