This lot consists of two mid-century utilitarian domestic vessels crafted from spun or stamped aluminium with black composite fittings. The first is a tall, tapering kettle or coffee pot with a high-mounted spout and a black composite handle. The second is a traditional squat-form kettle featuring a curved spout and an overhead black composite handle. Both items include lids with matching black composite knobs. These designs are typical of mid-20th-century kitchenware, similar to those produced by manufacturers such as Wear-Ever and Swan Brand, though no maker marks or backstamps are visible to confirm a specific manufacturer. Both items have small orange price labels attached to the handles.
Condition report:
Both vessels show signs of significant domestic use. The aluminium surfaces display general scratching, surface wear, and a loss of original lustre. There is a visible shallow dent to the side of the taller vessel. The composite handles and knobs show minor surface wear but appear to be intact and free from cracks.
