Lot 457: A Trio of Vintage Brass Light Fixture Components
A trio of vintage brass light fixture components, comprising a large shade gallery, a smaller bell-shaped hook fitting, and a circular ceiling rose. The largest component is a bell-shaped brass shade gallery or lamp holder, featuring an integral top suspension hook and three peripheral thumb screws intended for securing a glass shade. The second component is a smaller, similarly shaped brass fitting with a suspension hook and two attached metal chain links. The third component is a circular brass ceiling rose with a central hook and two pre-drilled mounting holes for installation. All pieces are constructed from solid brass. The components bear temporary orange labels with the number 457 and a white label with the digits 2 2. These items are currently unwired and will require professional rewiring to current safety standards before use. No manufacturer marks or hallmarks are visible on the items.
