Lot 376: A Collection of Framed Artworks including prints after Leonardo da Vinci and Michelangelo Buonarroti
A collection of framed artworks comprising three prints and one landscape painting. The collection includes a reproduction print after Leonardo da Vinci (Italian, 1452-1519) titled Madonna, Child, St. Anne and St. John, which features a printed identification label on the mount. A second print depicts a male figure after Michelangelo Buonarroti (Italian, 1475-1564) from the Sistine Chapel ceiling frescos. Also present is a print portraying a genre scene with multiple figures in an exterior setting, set within a dark green mount. The fourth item is a small landscape painting, oil on board, depicting a river valley with mountains in the distance, housed in an ornate gilt-finished composite frame. The framing styles across the collection vary from traditional decorative gold-toned mouldings to simple dark wood and painted frames. No signatures are visible on the artworks.

The collection is in generally fair to good condition. The frames show evidence of surface wear, scuffing, and minor chipping to the finishes, particularly at the corners and edges. There is light age-related toning and occasional minor foxing visible on the paper mounts and print surfaces. Adhesive lot stickers and numbered labels are applied to the glass and frame exteriors.
