Lot 300: An extensive collection of Royal Doulton Expressions Strawberry Fayre pattern dinner and tea wares
An extensive part-dinner and tea service in the Royal Doulton Expressions Strawberry Fayre pattern. The items are constructed from white glazed porcelain, decorated with transfer-printed trailing green foliage, small pinkish-red berries, and white blossoms. The collection includes various forms such as dinner plates, side plates, dessert plates, and shallow bowls. Tea and coffee service components comprise teapots, water jugs, creamers, lidded sugar bowls, teacups, and saucers. A lidded circular tureen and a serving plate with a central metal ring handle for a tiered stand are also present. While the pattern and forms are highly consistent with the Royal Doulton Expressions range introduced in the early 1990s, no factory marks are visible in the overview photographs.
Condition report:
The service is in used condition and has been stored loosely in cardboard boxes. Surface dust and grime are visible consistent with storage.
