Lot 276: A Trio of Portuguese Red Wine and Port comprising Lobo e Falcão, Taylor's and Dow's
This lot features three individual bottles of Portuguese wine and Port. The first is a 2021 vintage Lobo e Falcão (Wolf & Falcon) red wine, presented with a textured grey label depicting a wolf and a falcon, finished with a silver-coloured foil capsule. The second is a bottle of Taylor’s Late Bottled Vintage (LBV) Port from the 2016 vintage, produced by Taylor, Fladgate & Yeatman in Porto. It features a white main label, a black capsule, and the producer’s crest embossed on the bottle shoulder. The third bottle is a Dow’s ‘Midnight’ Port, a non-vintage reserve blend from Porto. This bottle has a cream and red label and bears the official ‘Vinho do Porto’ seal of guarantee on the neck with the serial number 934383. All bottles appear to be standard 75cl volume.
Condition report:
All three bottles appear to be in excellent condition, remaining unopened with original capsules and seals intact. Fill levels for all items are into the neck, showing no significant signs of evaporation. Labels are well-preserved, clean, and fully legible. Storage history is unknown. Sold as seen.
