A Victorian-style brass duplex oil lamp. The lamp features a stepped, circular pedestal base rising to a reeded column and a polished brass fount. It is fitted with a duplex twin-wick burner assembly, complete with two adjustment knobs. The lamp is topped with a globe-form glass shade, featuring frosted sections and clear bands with acid-etched floral and foliate scroll motifs. A clear glass chimney is present within the shade. No legible maker’s marks or manufacturer names are visible on the burner adjustment knobs or the base. Two adhesive auction/lot stickers are present on the body, one white with 15 on the base and one orange with 25 on the fount. This item appears to be an original oil lamp and has not been converted for electricity.
