Lot 221: A Collection of Vintage Vinyl Records and Storage Binders
A collection of vintage vinyl records and storage materials. The lot includes a compilation album titled Brass-Strings And Beautiful Things, which features a selection from the range of Telefunken recordings. Also present is a tan-coloured sleeve for the opera Martha or The Market at Richmond by Friedrich von Flotow, issued by the Opera Society London with catalogue number OPS 113-114. This recording features the Berlin Civic Opera Chorus and the Symphony Orchestra of Radio Berlin, conducted by Arthur Rother, with soloists including Erna Berger and Peter Anders. The collection further contains a large, brown, textured hardcover record storage binder and a stack of miscellaneous record sleeves, the uppermost of which bears a religious illustration of a saint holding a palm frond and a club. All items are marked with yellow inventory stickers bearing the number 221.

The collection is in used vintage condition. The record sleeves and album covers show signs of age including edge rubbing, corner bumping, and surface scuffing. The storage binder exhibits significant wear to the spine and extremities. The vinyl discs themselves have not been removed for visual inspection or playback testing, and are sold as seen.
