Lot 220: An Assortment of Vintage 7-Inch 45 RPM Vinyl Records
A collection of vintage 7-inch vinyl records, including 45 RPM singles and EPs, contained within a white cardboard storage box. The lot comprises numerous discs, many of which are housed in clear plastic protective sleeves, while others are in paper sleeves showing various states of wear. A visible paper sleeve is titled The Scots Guards on Parade (No. 2) and includes the German text Das ist Marschmusik!. The box features an orange adhesive label with the handwritten number 220 and a retail label. The collection appears to contain a range of mid-20th-century recordings.
Condition report:
The collection is in play-worn condition. Visible paper sleeves show significant signs of age and handling, including creasing, edge tears, and discolouration. Many records are stored without their original outer sleeves. The vinyl surfaces show signs of use consistent with age and long-term storage.
