Lot 197: A Set of Mid-20th Century Floral Pattern Bone China Tea Cups and Saucers
A set of bone china tea cups and saucers, characteristic of mid-20th century English manufacture. The collection comprises a group of tea cups and a pair of saucers, all featuring a lobed or fluted form. Each piece is decorated with a vibrant polychrome floral spray pattern in shades of yellow, orange, purple, and blue, set against a cream-coloured ground. The cups are fitted with scrolled handles and the rims of both the cups and saucers are finished with gilt detailing. No factory marks or backstamps are visible on the undersides of the items shown. The style and decoration are reminiscent of patterns produced by manufacturers such as EB Foley or Crown Staffordshire.

The items appear to be in good overall condition. There are no visible chips, cracks, or significant repairs. The gilding remains largely intact with only minor signs of surface wear consistent with age and use.
