Lot 180: Britains Model No. 4713 Farm Playbase Boxed Playset
A vintage Britains Farm Playbase, identified as Model No. 4713. This playset is presented in its original illustrated cardboard box and features a vacuum-formed plastic base with textured areas representing grass, soil, and a duck pond. The set includes several moulded plastic buildings: a Dutch barn, a vehicle shed, and a pig pen. According to the contents list on the packaging, the set comprises a variety of plastic animal and human figures including a colt, sheep, lamb, sheepdog, white sow, two piglets, horse, calf, chickens, and two ducks, alongside a farmer and a landgirl. Additional accessories include three gates, a tree, and six square hay bales. The box lid displays the manufacturer name Britains in large black lettering on a red background, with the product name Farm Playbase in green stylized script. The packaging also features the text Authentic Detail: Realistic Model and a small white square containing the number 18.
Condition report:
The original cardboard box shows signs of shelf wear consistent with age, including edge wear, blunting to the corners, and some surface creasing. A small orange price sticker reading 180 is present on the front face of the box. The internal contents appear to be largely complete based on visual inspection of the box art, although they have not been individually inventoried. The plastic buildings and figures appear to be in good condition with light signs of play wear and no obvious damage or repairs visible.
