Lot 178: A Collection of Five Vintage Britains and Similar Die-cast Toy Farm Tractors
A collection of five vintage 1:32 scale toy farm tractors, primarily attributed to Britains. The group includes a Massey Ferguson 2680 in red with grey components, featuring visible Massey Ferguson 2680 decals on the side of the bonnet. There are two Deutz-Fahr DX series tractors in green with black chassis and cabs, one bearing the designation DX 4.70. An orange Fiat tractor is included, displaying Fiat lettering on the side decal. Completing the lot is a predominantly black tractor of similar scale and construction. Each model is manufactured from a combination of die-cast metal and plastic components. The tractors feature standard rolling wheels and integrated steering mechanisms.

Items are in a play-worn condition throughout, exhibiting visible surface dust, paint loss, and signs of age-related use. The orange Fiat tractor is missing the rear nearside wheel and tyre assembly. Other models show evidence of minor missing or broken detail parts typical for toys of this age, such as exhaust stacks and cab components. Mechanisms appear largely functional, though they have not been extensively tested. Sold as a group lot for parts, restoration, or as a play-worn collection.
